An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with a wide range of paediatric clinical experience to join our small but dynamic team of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) and Clinical Support Workers (CSWs) in Inverclyde. (part time/full time/job share considered for the ideal candidate)
Ideally the postholder will have a special interest in Eating, Drinking and Swallowing difficulties and hold, or be interested in working towards, a post graduate qualification in Dysphagia. A keen interest in children with Additional Support Needs would be an advantage as well as a desire to work together with partners in health and education to support children and families.
Clinical supervision, caseload/workload management and team lead support are provided. Internal and external CPD opportunities are available for staff to develop their knowledge, skills and experience. It is essential that you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and have current registration with the HCPC. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. Car driver advantageous.
