Come and join our dynamic team supporting deaf children and young people across Norfolk.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Virtual School Sensory Support working to promote the educational outcomes of Deaf Children and Young People.

In this role, you will work under the guidance of Teachers of the Deaf to support individuals or small groups of learners and help to ensure they have the maximum possible access to appropriate educational opportunities.

The job is varied and no two days are the same. While experience and knowledge of working with deaf children is desirable, a willingness to learn specialist skills and to be flexible are essential qualities.

There are two part-time positions of 20 hours a week, term time plus two weeks. It may be possible to offer some flexibility on the number of hours worked.

It is expected that the posts will be based in the Norwich area initially, however, we support children and young people across the county and the ability to travel independently is essential.
