Salary: 50% of private treatment charges (£40,000 – £70,000 per year) (50% lab cost would be payable)
About the Role
Antrim House Dental Practice is seeking an experienced Orthodontist (or DWSI – Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics) to join our experienced and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with excellent earning potential in our well-established 6-surgery dental practice in the heart of Wolverhampton.
You’ll be joining a dynamic, patient-focused team with excellent clinical support and a strong referral base. With a keen list of private patients ready to start treatment, this is an ideal role for someone looking to grow their private portfolio with favourable terms and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform orthodontic assessments, treatment planning, and reviews
- Fit braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists for holistic patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance maintenance
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and orthodontic procedures
- Skilled in analysing dental imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
Qualifications
- GDC-registered Orthodontist or DWSI in Orthodontics (minimum 3 years' experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (preferred)
