Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our medical team for an evening shift at our clinic. You can choose your own hours but ideally somewhere between 4pm - 9pm is where we are seeing the demand that we need to accommodate . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and be proficient in performing ultrasound examinations.
Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
- Educate patients on the ultrasound process and answer any questions they may have regarding the procedure.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
