Musicteam are a small collective of singers and musicians, operating mainly in the greater London area (West, North, Central and South London mainly)..
Musicteam are a small care home music agency, we require one or both of the following:
1: A singer with backing tracks and sound system.
2: A singer who also plays guitar.
For either of these roles, the sessions are usually an hour in length, with some two-hour sessions also. The pay varies, from £20 per hour for 1 to 1 sessions (best suited to guitarists who sing), mid-sized group sessions pay around £50 to £60 for both backing tracks and guitarists, right through to £80+ per hour for entertainers who bring their own sound system and backing tracks equipment, microphone etc.
You must have a large and varied repertoire, with a mix of contemporary songs (1930's thru to 1980's plus wartime and sing along songs for the elderly age group/ over 60's. Some more modern music is fine but only if melodic and well known familiar tunes.
Overall, we require artistes with a great sense of empathy and compassion for working with all ages and abilities.
The work is ongoing and year round, one off bookings at first, but often building up to substantial daytime income (perfect for the artiste who may have night time gigs and not much in the way of work during the day). You must be self-employed and DBS checked. If you are not DBS checked we can at your cost process that for you.
