Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and horticulture, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency with various hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of our landscapes, contributing to both residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, turfing, trimming, and pruning plants and trees.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plant health.
- Assist in gardening activities, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to plant health or equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction projects related to landscaping features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment safely.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, including plant identification and care requirements.
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools while following safety procedures.
- A background in construction or gardening will be considered an asset.

Pay: £13.41-£16.79 per hour
