Overview
We are a small company which has been established in Bath for 35 years, with many satisfied customers who are very happy to not only repeat custom but also recommend us to friends and family. We are in need of a new team leader to manage their own site and labourer but will also be supported in decisions and method by myself.
Duties
- All types of hard landscaping
- Laying all types of paving
- Constructing all types of fencing
- Building walls in block, brick and stone.
- Clearance of spaces prior to construction.
- Construction of decking - composite and timber.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape construction or a related field is essential, I would not expect the candidate to know all aspects as it is such a varied industry but having practical knowledge to help problem solve is advantageous.
- Driving licence is essential. A van will be provided.
- Ability to use both hand tools and power tools safely in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to Hard landscaping is essential.
The right candidate would be joining a relaxed and fun team, our work hours are 7.30 until approximately 3.30 Monday to Friday, there is an option for overtime either by working later or weekends. Payment is PAYE weekly, accrued holiday pay at 28 days per year, option for work based pension and lunch supplied on a Friday. Pay will range from £14.50-£17.50 per hour depending on experience.
