Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our messaging is consistent and aligns with our overall marketing goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the public relations team to ensure cohesive messaging across all communications.
- Analyse social media performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools is an advantage but not essential.
