Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team at IWH Online & Want a New Gadget. This role is essential in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience through various social media platforms. You will play a key part in supporting our marketing efforts and driving brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and creating content for our social media platforms.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitor social media trends and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns.
- Help create promotional materials that align with our brand voice.
- Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and outreach messages.
Requirements
- A passion for social media and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, or other content creation tools is a plus
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively
