Cocoon Outerwear is a luxury clothing brand responsibly creating Made to Measure Men’s and Women’s Outerwear at our workshop in Oxfordshire
We are looking for a skilled professional seamstress with considerable outerwear experience to join our small team. You should be confident in handling a variety of high quality fabrics and able to work efficiently with precision and attention to detail. Typically you will be making individual garments from start to finish.
We offer a friendly collaborative working environment in our lovely atelier style workshop above stables on a farm on the edge of The Cotswolds.
You should be a team player with a long-term commitment to the brand, love sewing and creating beautiful garments. Happy to utilise and share your own experience while willing to learn new skills and techniques.
Established for 40 years Cocoon is now under new ownership. We have exciting plans for the future and require a new motivated, friendly and skilled member of our team to help achieve them. The position is only available due to the retirement of one of our seamstresses after 25 years.
Due to the rural location, applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own transport. You must be within a commutable distance of OX25 6JX or willing to relocate

Up to 37.5 hr working week including 1/2 hour paid lunch break.
Generous terms depending on experience, up to £27K per annum for (effectively) a 35 hour week. Usual benefits.
