Salary: SCP 12 – 17: £14,978 - £16,248 per annum
20 hours per week, all year round

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated site supervisor to join our school team at the WISE Academies. We are looking for someone who wants to help us create an outstanding environment inside and out for our children and staff.

Adderlane Academy is a unique, friendly, hard working and family orientated school in the busy town of Prudhoe, Northumberland. At Adderlane we endeavour to look after the children and staff within the setting to ensure that they have everything they need to succeed. This may be resources, additional help, strong relationships with adults and a rigorous PSHE curriculum and Wellbeing package. We ensure we provide pupils with memorable first hand experiences. We focus particularly on developing the oracy skills of our pupils, by providing rich relevant vocabulary and appropriate stem sentences. We use strategies to ensure children remember more and enjoy learning.
The successful candidate will:
- Be trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work alone, prioritising tasks.
- Be organised and able to keep the relevant areas of the school cleaned to a high standard.
- Have good general skills and a willingness to work proactively to keep the school site safe and clean.
- Be able to liaise positively with cleaning and other services.
- Have an understanding of health and safety regulations and fire safety procedures.
- Be willing to develop skills pertinent to the role and be proactive in identifying training needs.
