Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Silicone Renderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying silicone materials in various construction and renovation projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction practices. The Silicone Renderer will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications.
Ideally a Team would be preferred with own transport and tools.
Duties
- Apply silicone sealants and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and determine the best approach for silicone application.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to prepare surfaces for rendering.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on surfaces prior to silicone application, including masonry, painting, and carpentry tasks.
- Follow safety protocols while working on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and materials.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, roofing, and painting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- A background in plastering or similar trades would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and personable skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
