HelpAlert is a growing UK-based healthtech company providing personal alarm devices for older adults. Our GPS-enabled watch offers 24/7 support and peace of mind to families nationwide. As part of our latest website update, we’re refreshing the visuals for our flagship product.
We’re looking for a skilled freelance 3D designer to help us design two strap options for our existing watch model and create a set of photorealistic renders for our online store.
The Project
We have a complete SolidWorks assembly file (.SLDASM) of our GPS Watch. Your role will involve:
Creating two new strap variations (e.g. silicone and fabric)
Applying those straps to the existing watch model
Rendering the full watch with each strap in multiple photorealistic angles
Delivering high-resolution images suitable for use on our ecommerce website
To guide you, we’ve prepared some sample strap designs and colours:

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Proven experience working with SolidWorks (.SLDASM) files
The ability to design simple strap styles that fit the model cleanly
Experience with product rendering software such as:
SolidWorks Visualize
KeyShot
Blender (with photorealistic plugins)
Cinema 4D (Redshift or Octane)
A strong portfolio that includes realistic renders of consumer or wearable products
Ability to export high-resolution PNGs (ideally with transparent backgrounds)
The core watch model is already built, and we’re only requesting strap adaptations and image rendering. We believe this is a fair rate for an efficient designer with the right skills and tools.
If you feel the scope justifies a different approach, you're welcome to explain your reasoning.
We’re flexible on timing and happy to support you with clear direction and quick responses.
To Apply
Please include the following in your application:
A short note about your experience with SolidWorks and rendering
A link to your portfolio (especially product or watch renders)
The software you plan to use for rendering
Confirmation that you can work directly with .SLDASM files
Your availability this week or next
We’re a collaborative and supportive team looking to build relationships with great freelancers for future projects as well. We look forward to hearing from you!
