Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies, while also providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorised access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor logs, and any relevant reports.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CCTV and surveillance systems.
- Strong understanding of first aid procedures.
- Experience in loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict effectively.
