Overview
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our shop. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and proactive individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop, carpark and communal grounds
- Assist in restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels
- Process customer transactions accurately using the till system
- Support the shop manager with any additional tasks as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a fast food environment is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English is priority
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures
- A proactive and helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: £7.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
