Shop Assistant
As a Shop Assistant, your main responsibility is to support the Shop Manager with the store's daily operations. This involves serving customers, managing phone calls, and providing general assistance to the Shop Manager.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing incoming deliveries, which includes unpacking and organising new stock.
- Stocking, arranging, and labelling products on the display shelves.
- Helping customer locate the items they are looking for.
- Operating the till to process customer payments.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Offering helpful advice and product recommendations.
- Tidying and reorganising the store at the end of the day.
- Working with the rest of the team to maintain a clean and orderly sales floor at all times.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar retail role is advantageous.
- A positive attitude when interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- An effective team player.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy retail environment and have excellent customer service skills. We have both full-time and part-time roles available, which will require weekend work.
