Job Responsibilities:
- to create a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for children
- to plan and provide stimulating play opportunities to encourage children from all backgrounds to develop and express themselves socially and emotionally
- setting up play equipment and making sure play areas are safe
- supervising children during play, dealing with any minor injuries
- to work closely with parents and staff to provide practical information and assistance
- preparing snacks for the children
- to ensure that any issues in relation to safeguarding children or adults at risk are brought to the immediate attention of the Support Services Manager or if unavailable another manager
- to maintain confidentiality and to ensure that professional boundaries are observed when working with clients, staff and external bodies and to work within Restore’s Code of Conduct
- to work primarily in Bury St Edmunds with potential occasional work in Haverhill, Newmarket and Stowmarket (travel expenses paid).
