We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest enjoys their time at our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials, including upselling where appropriate.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously.
- Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour.
- Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
