Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Manage time effectively to accommodate multiple tables and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues swiftly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and culinary trends to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE in a hospitality or restaurant setting is essential.
- Strong guest service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From £12.25 per hour
