Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
