SEO Executive
Job Overview
Due to the genuine growth of the performance marketing team at BrightHR, an exciting new role is available for a passionate, analytical, and highly organised SEO Executive.
This role is focussed across the 4 core pillars of SEO activity (content, on-page, off page and tech) and is ultimately responsible for contributing to the non-paid lead target.
While based in the UK, this is an internationally collaborative role, sharing learnings and insights with colleagues to ensure we’re maximising value in everything we do.
You’ll work with the UK SEO Manager and the wider SEO team to deliver results through a test and learn approach, in a constantly evolving search landscape.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve website rankings.
- Conduct keyword research, back link analysis, on-page audits and data analysis to identify relevant high value opportunities to grow or defend, aligned to commercial priorities.
- Create and optimise website content including landing pages and blogs, articles targeting improved search presence and user engagement.
- Work with the UK SEO Manager to develop and implement link building campaigns.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics and Search Console, to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Research competitors' SEO strategies and identify opportunities to stay ahead in organic search rankings.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to set new campaign initiatives live for the SEO channel.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine changes (including algorithm changes and new technologies like AIO & genAI search) to adapt SEO strategies accordingly.
- Work with the Global Head of SEO and UK SEO Manager to reach channel growth targets.
What you bring to the Team
- 2+ years’ experience in an SEO role, client or agency side.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of all aspects of written English.
- Good attention to detail.
- Knowledge of core SEO principles (keyword clustering, intent and targeting, on-page optimisation, internal and back link tactics) and how they contribute to increasing organic visibility.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- A desire to improve efficiency of processes; interested in learning and adopting tools.
- The enthusiasm to keep abreast of industry changes. Possess the ability to adapt to how new developments may impact SEO and best practice.
