We’re looking for an experienced and confident Senior Tour Guide to lead immersive and engaging walking tours around London. This role is ideal for someone with a background in guiding, acting, performance, or storytelling — someone who can capture an audience and bring London’s streets to life.
You’ll take the lead on private and group tours across central London, delivering high-quality, memorable experiences. You’ll also help shape the direction of our newer tours and support junior guides as the business grows.
This is a freelance, flexible-hours position, typically based around weekends, holidays, and selected weekdays depending on demand and your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-quality walking tours across iconic areas of London (e.g., Westminster, Soho, Covent Garden)
- Confidently present historical, cultural, or themed content in a dynamic and engaging way
- Adjust your delivery to suit different group types and ages (families, couples, students, international guests)
- Provide mentorship or guidance to less experienced guides (if applicable)
- Be punctual, professional, and well-presented at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in tour guiding, acting, presenting, or public speaking
- Strong storytelling ability and presence — you know how to hold a crowd
- Excellent spoken English and clear communication
- Good knowledge of London’s history, landmarks, and hidden gems (or willingness to develop this)
- A positive, adaptable attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Right to work in the UK

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
