The Opportunity
We're transforming how enterprises manage trillions in annual supplier relationships, and we need someone exceptional to help us build the engineering team that will make it happen.
As our founding dedicated Engineering Talent Partner, you'll have the rare opportunity to contribute to shaping how a Series A rocket ship attracts and hires world-class engineering talent and help build the foundation of a company that will define the future of B2B procurement and supplier management technology.
You’ll own the end to end recruiting process, personally doing sourcing through to process management, offer and close, and enable our rapid growth as a company as we continue to grow revenue by more than doubling year on year over the coming years.
Your Impact
In your first 90 days, you'll:
Partner with our VP Engineering and engineering leadership to refine our hiring strategy for scaling from 25 to 50+ engineers
Create the playbook for technical interviewing to balance rigour with delightful candidate experience
Close your first 3-5 critical engineering hires who will become pillars of our team
By year one, you'll have:
Scaled our engineering team by over 2x with exceptional talent
Reduced time-to-hire while improving offer acceptance rates
Built a diverse pipeline of engaged engineering candidates
Established our company as a destination employer for product engineers passionate about solving complex problems
What You'll Actually Do
Hands-on Recruiting
Source and engage exceptional engineers
Run end-to-end processes for engineering roles from entry level to our most senior
Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling role pitches
Close candidates by articulating our engineering culture, technical vision and growth trajectory
Building for Scale
Create interview processes that assess both technical excellence and cultural addition
Develop engineering referral programs that actually work
Build relationships with London tech communities and universities
Train engineers to be exceptional interviewers and hiring partners
Strategic Partnership
Represent talent strategy as a member of engineering leadership
Forecast hiring needs based on product roadmap and business goals
Build data-driven hiring reports that inform company strategy
You're Likely A Great Fit If You Have:
Must-Haves:
5+ years recruiting engineers at high-growth startups or tech companies
Track record of hiring for our modern tech stacks (we use TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS)
Ability to credibly discuss technical requirements with engineering leaders
Data-driven approach to measuring and improving hiring outcomes
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software companies
Built diverse engineering teams in competitive markets
Worked through Series A to Series D growth stages
Active in London tech communities
Experience with enterprise software domains
