Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Content Strategist to join our dynamic SAAS team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and content strategy, along with the ability to create engaging and effective content that drives organic traffic. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and ensuring that our content aligns with best practices for SEO.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content creation.
- Create, edit, and optimise high-quality content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
- Manage metadata, including title tags and meta descriptions, to enhance click-through rates.
- Utilise Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on social media management to promote content effectively.
- Maintain proficiency in content management systems (CMS), including WordPress, to streamline publishing processes.
- Implement tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager to measure user engagement and behaviour.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies relevant to SEO.
Experience
- Proven experience in SEO content strategy or a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of SEO principles.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS for basic web editing tasks.
- Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus for enhancing user experience on web pages.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to analyse performance data.
- Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
- Excellent writing skills with an ability to create compelling content tailored for target audiences.
