Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SEO Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising our online presence to enhance visibility and drive traffic to our client's websites. This role requires a strong understanding of search engine optimisation strategies, content management systems, and social media management. The SEO Executive will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective SEO campaigns that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases for content optimisation.
- Optimise website content, including metadata, headings, and images, to improve search engine rankings.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Create high-quality, SEO-friendly content that engages users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Perform regular audits of the website to identify areas for improvement in terms of SEO performance.
- Assist in the management of content management systems such as WordPress, ensuring all content is optimised for search engines.
- Create monthly SEO reports, showing progress, and identify weakness or lost opportunities
- Track record of growing organic search traffic through content and SEO optimisation
- Comfortable with deadlines and the everyday pressures of the world of marketing
Skills
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and strategies, with a solid understanding of how search engines work.
- Experience with metadata creation and optimisation for various types of content.
- Familiarity with content management systems, particularly WordPress.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous for technical SEO tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Search Console and other analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in social media management to promote content and engage with audiences online.
We need you to have:
- 2+ years SEO and Content specialist experience (but if you are that good, with less experience then apply! )
- Working knowledge of search engine optimisation best practices
- Ability to produce grammatically sound and engaging content
- Use of Uber Suggest, Google Search Console and other tools.
