Job Purpose

As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of our Design System. This role is pivotal in ensuring design consistency, scalability, and accessibility across our product suite. You’ll collaborate closely with our UI development team to design, govern, and maintain a robust component library and design standards.

Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll join a growing team of designers and play a foundational role in shaping our design culture. We’re looking for someone with deep experience in design systems, ideally within B2B SaaS and multi-brand environments. You should be equally comfortable collaborating with product teams to solve real user problems.

Main Responsibilities
·

  • Lead the design, maintenance, evolution and advocacy of our design system to support both internal teams and client-facing needs.
  • Define and maintain semantic and functional tokens for the design system
  • Develop and continually update comprehensive documentation, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • Craft accessible, inclusive, responsive components, patterns and layouts that meet WCAG and usability standards.
  • Champion accessibility across the organisation and with clients, embedding inclusive design into our culture.
  • Educating teams on the benefits of design systems plus leading workshops and discussions advocating for broad adoption.
  • Owning the tracking and reporting of key KPIs in relation to the design system.
  • Apply behavioural design principles to create intuitive, engaging experiences that account for cognitive biases and heuristics.
  • Ensure consistency and usability across omni-channel experiences and platforms.

Requirements

Essential criteria

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable design systems in large, complex organizations, preferably in multi-brand environments.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, with a track record of designing inclusive interfaces.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and system guidelines.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
  • Exceptional interface design skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around user needs.
  • Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, and user testing tools such as Maze (or equivalents).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience working with global enterprises.
  • Experience designing for right to left languages
  • Background in B2B software, B2C experience is a plus.
  • Experience conducting user research and discovery activities.
