Sonomatic RAIS have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Plant Inspector to join our busy inspection team at Shell, FNGL.
Along with sufficient experience, this role demands an adaptable, proactive site supervisor who has exceptional communication skills who can seek solutions with a positive approach.
The successful candidate will be able to mentor the site team and help drive the team to success.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Sonomatic representative onsite, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients.
- Act as site supervisor with responsibility for first-line supervision and management of the site inspection team.
- Function as the focal point for driving and completing inspection work scopes, ensuring site compliance with PSSR and COMAH regulations.
- Train, mentor and support the development of junior / less experienced engineers.

Required Qualifications
- ASME L2, API 510, API 570
- Degree or HNC in relevant discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- IEng or working towards
