We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Senior Lead Practitioner to join our nursery team based at Chestnut Nursery School - William Bellamy, RM10 7HX.

The Role
This is a TERM TIME role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. William Bellamy is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm.
Working in the brand new 0-2 room.

- The successful applicant will need to have…
- Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS)
- Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning
- Experience
- Level 3 qualified
- Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
- Work well within a team
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills and time-management
- Key Duties
As a Senior Lead Practitioner your responsibilities are…
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
- Promoting and supporting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Take necessary steps to safeguard all who access the setting, adhering to the safeguarding policy
- Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Flexible in working hours if required.
- Support daily routines.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Light cleaning duties.
- Maintain a high level of supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality.
