As a practitioner, we are looking for candidates to have experience working with children, preferably in the primary school age range. We are also looking for candidates to be qualified to at least SCQF Level 6 (SVQ Level 2) in Playwork, Social Services (Children & Young People) or another relevant subject. You must be willing to reach SCQF Level 7 in one of these subjects to maintain SSSC registration at Practitioner level.

This role is classed as regulated work. A job offer will therefore be subject to membership of the PVG scheme we the organisation will support the successful candidate with. Registration and maintenance of registration) with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is also mandatory. You must hold or be willing to achieve relevant qualifications stipulated by the SSSC. Again, the organisation will support the successful candidate with this process.
