The South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a committed and experienced CT2 Psychiatry doctor to join the team at Luther King Ward, Lambeth Hospital. This 18-bedded acute psychiatric unit provides comprehensive care to patients with a variety of psychiatric conditions. As a CT2 Psychiatry doctor, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality clinical care and support to patients. This is a locum position, with scheduled shifts throughout the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute psychiatric patients.
- Contribute to ward rounds, clinical decision-making, and treatment planning.
- Work closely with senior medical staff, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and teaching sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in line with trust policies.
- Support junior doctors and provide supervision when necessary.
- Ensure that all clinical duties are carried out in accordance with current best practices and guidelines.
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies and participate in on-call duties if required.

Pay: £45.00-£50.00 per hour
