Overview:

A competent gardener with 4 years experience
Hardworking

Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Preferred RHS level 2 qualified or a willingness to undertake it

We are a family run business looking to expand and continue to grow to reach more gardens in the Oxford area. As a new company we are looking for candidates that want to progress and take on a leading role in our development. We are committed to nurturing our Garden team in any way we can and strongly believe in development and continuous learning.
Examples of Duties:
- Supervising junior members of the team
-Taking the leading role in communication with the customer
-Liaising with the head gardener to keep them up to date on progress
- Caring for plants (A real focus on correct watering, pest management, placement and pruning)
- Caring for the borders to include weeding, mulching , pruning and edging.
- Maintaining fine lawns and hard landscaped areas
- Using hand tools and power tools effectively for garden upkeep
- Improving the Garden through a variety of methods
- Outstanding customer service at all times
Experience:
- Good experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping
- Great knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take resposibility for the job
Skills:
- Able to use garden machinery safely and efficiently
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all seasons
- Brilliant customer service skills
-Able to lead a team and also able to work independently
- Driving license essential with less then 6 points
