What you'll be doing?

Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function – Barratt Partnerships.
While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don’t: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You’ll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.
Reporting to the CRM and Automation Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the use of MS Dynamics within marketing, driving optimisation of the MS Dynamics product and ensuring effective use by Marketing teams. This includes leading new development initiatives, working with IT and other third parties to understand requirements, building specifications, testing and updating configurations, and driving delivery of prioritised updates that will improve the Customer Journey. Additionally, the role will support key business integration initiatives to embed new processes and support users to maximise the use of the platform, as well as reporting on Dynamics use and the success of development initiatives.
You will be expected to:

Leadership, Management and Strategy:

  • Support the Dynamics Delivery Lead to prioritise the MS Dynamics backlog, representing the needs of Marketing teams to improve the user experience.

  • Oversee the use of MS Dynamics across the marketing function and divisions to ensure optimal use, actively driving best practices.
  • Authorise and issue technical guidance on MS Dynamics, assisting with any Dynamics-related queries from Marketing teams and divisions.
  • Regularly align with colleagues across marketing to share priorities and drive strategic alignment across media, brand, communications, content, and creative so that omnichannel journeys are cohesive.
  • Keep informed on the latest innovations in marketing automation and AI to recommend improvements in the MS Dynamics product and Customer Journey.

Driving Digital CRM & Automation Capabilities:

  • Lead new development initiatives, working with IT and other third parties to understand requirements, build, test and update configurations, and drive delivery of prioritised updates.
  • Gather requirements from Marketing teams, supporting the translation of business requirements to technical requirements.
  • Run UAT sessions with the business to ensure new enhancements are configured optimally.
  • Ensure MS Dynamics is performing and fit for purpose, proactively identifying and responding to technical issues.
  • Support the Dynamics Delivery Lead with integration with Group IT, keeping Group IT informed of all objectives that will have implications for MS Dynamics and its interface with other Group IT technology.
  • Work with the Digital Product Manager to support the integration with Sitecore, keeping closely aligned on current developments and priorities.
  • Oversee the delivery of change programmes to embed new MS Dynamics features and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for new training to drive digital CRM capabilities, supporting the delivery of training, and working with third parties to coordinate training sessions.

Reporting, Analytics and Optimisation:

  • Monitor and report on progress of ongoing MS Dynamics developments, keeping all stakeholders updated and informed.
  • Monitor and report on MS Dynamics performance and system use, identifying opportunities to optimise use of product features to maximise ROI on Dynamics spend.
  • Support the Dynamics Delivery Lead to manage budgets and extensions.

What you'll need?

To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
  • Experienced professional with 4+ years in a digital marketing role.
  • Strong MS Dynamics product knowledge and experience.
  • Experience delivering digital omnichannel CRM campaigns (email, SMS), lead nurturing, campaign automation, personalisation, and journey analytics.
  • Experience developing implementation roadmaps and processes around new technology.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to articulate and present a strong business case, influence stakeholders, manage change and problem solve.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading large projects, liaising with different teams, and reporting to stakeholders at different levels.
