Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior CDP / Junior Sous to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, being a second on wedding an events and ensuring high standards of food production and preparation while maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, supervisory experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff effectively.
- Supervise food production and preparation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a kitchen environment.
- Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Comprehensive culinary experience with a passion for cooking.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
