Prideaux House is looking for an experienced full or part time , medication trained senior care assistant who has the ability to lead a and join our friendly team. All training will be provided through face to face training and online training.
24-36 hour contract with the ability to cover sickness and holiday.
NVQ 2 required minimum with a desire to complete level 3.
We are a small dementia home that has worked hard to obtain a good and outstanding from our last CQC inspection and require a hardworking and friendly person who has medication training with preferably at least one year's experience as a senior in their previous job.
The job role involves the day to day running of the shift, administering medication and ordering of medication. Working alongside the other seniors to ensure that the rota is covered and the shift has a good balance of staff. Liaising with GP's, Families and other outside professionals to ensure our service user's receive the care and support they need, Completing risk assessments and audits. referrals and Dols applications. creating and reviewing of electronic care plans.
The applicant must have the ability to use the computer for emails, forms and care planning.
