A key role working as part of an administrative and clerical function that supports the in-patient management team at Gartnavel Royal Hospital.
The post holder will ensure that an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service be delivered to the multidisciplinary team managing the hospital and its services. Specifically the post holder will work directly to the In-patient Service Manager, In-Patient Support Nurse a range of clinical staff, and operational managers working within Mental Health Services. They will ensure that they are the single point of contact and access for those noted, operating effectively, and work independently for much of the time managing their daily workload, whilst supporting the wider team. Those they are supporting will influence their work and routine tasks. They should possess an excellent knowledge of IT systems as the foundation to support common NHS systems used to support day-to-day work, these include SSTS, eESS, or an equivalent patient and staff focused administrative systems. Applicants should note that the post holder would also provide cover for their administration colleagues / peer group within In-Patient services during periods of absence, annual and / or other leave.
