Our Tactical Asset Planning team have an excellent opportunity to join as our new Senior Asset Management Analyst.

 

In this role you’ll strive for best-in-class principles for your respective asset class (or classes), analysing potential problems to get a better understanding of them and find a way to promote a fix to solve them to ensure we are fit for the future.


Additionally, you’ll be responsible for understanding and interrogating your asset class performance, creating, and developing robust investment plans. You’ll also lead the development and continuous improvement of a proactive risk methodology for the asset class. 


Some of your key accountabilities will be: 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 
 

As a Senior Asset Management Analyst, you’ll support our Tactical Asset Planning Manager as well as Engineers within the team and will be responsible for one or more of the asset classes identified within the Waste Treatment subservice of Severn Trent.


The role will be all encompassing, allowing you the flexibility to pursue your passion for technical curiosity, whilst coaching and mentoring throughout the business to act as an asset class expert. 


You’ll ideally be technical expert in understanding water treatment processes and their associated risks and benefits, with a good understanding of financial and project management lifecycles and the business planning process.


You’ll also have the ability to present to stakeholders as well as contributing to communities of practice and steering groups meetings amongst others.


Additionally, you’ll be an expert in data management, construction techniques and risk mitigation to aid decision making.
