We are looking for a SEND & Safeguarding Children Lead to join our team over the Summer holidays delivering on the Holiday Activity & Food Programme.

Molly's Gift have been delivering Holiday Activity & Food Programmes since 2021 for younger children aged 4-11, and in recent years have expanded to provide a Summer programme for older school children, aged 11-16.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the care of children with additional and complex needs, as well as experience leading on safeguarding concerns.

The SEND & Safeguarding Lead will play a dual role in ensuring the inclusion, safety, and well-being of all children and young people attending the holiday camp. The role focuses on supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and leading safeguarding practices in line with statutory and organisational requirements.

A fully enhanced DBS is essential. We can provide this if you do not already have one.

The role will be temporary over the 6 week Summer holidays, with up to 35 hours a week available. If successful, there will be other opportunities for casual work within other Molly's Gifts projects, including Saturday Club and other half term camps across the year.

Summer staff training session date to be confirmed (Either Monday 30th June, Tuesday 1st July or Wednesday 2nd July) - Please ensure that you would be available to attend this training session should your application be successful.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £18.60 per hour
