Outcomes First Group
Broxtowe, England

How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*?

Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).

If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join #teamOFG!

Job Title: SENCo

Location: Hemlock Stone School, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire NG9 8GA

Salary: £35,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Start: January 2026

UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

As part of our continued growth, Hemlock Stone School is launching a new specialist provision—and we're looking for an experienced and passionate SENCo to join our close-knit team. This is a newly created role designed to ensure the highest standard of SEND support for our pupils.

About the Role

As SENCo, you will play a key role in the strategic development and implementation of SEND provision across the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and our on-site therapy team, you will ensure that pupils with autism, complex communication needs, and associated learning and emotional needs receive high-quality, individualised support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the school’s SEND policy and inclusive practices
  • Provide guidance on the graduated approach to SEN and tailored interventions
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external agencies
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of SEND provision
  • Contribute to whole-school development as part of the Leadership Team

This is a highly rewarding role where you’ll directly impact pupils’ progress, confidence, and wellbeing.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an innovative and motivated SENCo who is ready to shape and influence the success of a new service.

You’ll need to bring:

  • UK QTS (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND, especially autism and complex needs
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • A collaborative, solution-focused mindset
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll help drive improvement in the Quality of Education and shape the future direction of our school.
