Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents promptly and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a commitment to loss prevention.
Please note that the location is subject to change as we facilitate outdoor cinema events in various locations around London.

Shoebury East Beach
Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June 2025
Tru Gym
Friday 04th July 2025 to Sunday 06th July 2025
Southend Pier
Wednesday 13th August 2025 to Sunday 17th August 2025
Duties
- Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorised personnel enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary until emergency services arrive.
- Prepare detailed reports on any incidents or irregularities encountered during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations as necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security issues or concerns.
Skills
- Proven experience in loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, particularly CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.

Pay: £7.50-£12.50 per hour
