We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to manage our culinary operations at upcoming outdoor cinema events in various locations across London and Southend.
The ideal candidate MUST have access to their own vehicle and have a valid driving license, a Level 2 certification in Food Hygiene or similar and be able to have a telephone interview on Tuesday 10th June 2025.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, ensuring that all meals meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Kitchen Leader, you will lead the kitchen staff while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment that fosters a positive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance to promote high performance.
- Implement and maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Train new employees on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and kitchen policies.
- Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency across all dishes.
- Order and collect the required Kitchen food supplies for upcoming events
- Assist with bartending duties during peak service times as needed.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
- A minimum Level 2 certification in Food Hygiene or similar.
- MUST have access to own vehicle and have a valid driving license, this is an Essential requirement
- Proven leadership skills with the capability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Previous catering experience is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both staff and management.
- A genuine passion for cooking and helping others develop their culinary skills.
