Job Description:
- To be the first point of contact in answering the calls from the alarm receiving centres, take full detailed notes and pass the information effectively to the operations team
- Good knowledge of keyholding response
- Deal with enquiries from customers, stakeholders and emergency services
- Deal with enquiries from members of the public
- Ensure staff welfare calls are carried out in a timely manner
- Be proficient in the use of various databases, excel and outlook
- Be a clear, strong communicator both written and orally
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Supervising the mobile teams ensuring all jobs are completed
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
Ideally someone with some knowledge of the security industry is advantageous however we welcome applications from those that may come from a call centre/inbound call environment where you can demonstrate the ability to time manage, prioritize, record information, pass this information clearly and effectively to other parties and demonstrate a high level of customers when working under pressure.
Hours & Pay of Work:
You will be working 13 hour shifts. Pay is £12.21 during the probation period & on completion £12.90 per hour. Rotation pattern of 4 on 4 off. Overtime will be given on rest days where available.
Required:
1. Must provide 5 years checkable work or back to school history.
2. Must have at least a valid SIA DS licence.
3. Proof of the right to work in the UK, proof of residence and national insurance.
4. Provide at least 1 character reference.
5. Proof of ID (Passport or Birth Certificate only).
6. Minimum GCSE/ O’Level or equivalent in Maths and English.
7. Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office: including Word & Excel.
8. Must have a valid clean UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
9. Able to work varying work shift patterns or unsociable hours when required.
10. Must have good understanding of Health and Safety responsibilities relating to a security team.
