We are a well-established local accounting firm seeking a professional and proactive Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join our small, dedicated team on a flexible part-time basis. Additional hours may be available during busier periods.
This role is key to the smooth running of our office, helping us stay efficient, organised, and responsive to our clients’ needs. You’ll provide vital support across the team and play a role in ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and managing incoming calls and emails
- Liaising with clients and managing appointment scheduling
- Onboarding new clients and maintaining accurate records
- Filing and document organisation (both digital and paper-based)
- General administrative support, including data entry, printing, and scanning
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required
- Supporting improvements to office systems and internal processes
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Professional, clear communicator (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); accounting software knowledge a bonus
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently
- Experience in a finance or accounting office is beneficial, but not essential
