Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop their skills. This role involves working closely with children, providing tailored educational support, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience in special education is highly desirable, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one within very small group tutoring sessions in English, maths and Primary groups (depending on your specialism).
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to help create personalised learning plans.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Educate students on study techniques, time management, and organisational skills.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence in learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Skills
- Must be a qualified teacher with QTS, with at least 2 years experience working in a school or relevent setting.
- Knowledge of special education practices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to educate and inspire students, adapting methods to meet individual needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed academically.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and their learning plans efficiently.

Pay: £35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 8 per week
