Prominent Education, part of the Xinlung Group, specialises in high-quality, tailored tuition across a wide range of subjects. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking experienced tutors to deliver GCSE Maths tuition online.
Candidate requirements
Essential
- Proven track record of success in tutoring or teaching GCSE Maths
- Minimum of 5 years’ teaching or tutoring experience
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Teaching qualification
- Able and willing to provide an enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
Advantageous
- Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
- Experience creating GCSE Maths resources or exam preparation materials
- Familiarity with exam board specifications (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.)
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one and small group online tuition in GCSE Maths
- Create tailored lesson plans, homework, and revision resources for each student
- Provide clear, prompt feedback and set achievable learning goals
- Contribute to the development of internal resources and curriculum materials as needed
