We are a creative and dynamic event production company based in Exeter, Devon. An important part of our business is designing and building bespoke structures, sets, and installations for live events, exhibitions, and private functions. Our workshop is the heart of our operation, where ideas are turned into reality.
The Role
We’re looking for a practical and motivated individual with a mix of CNC knowledge and carpentry skills to join our workshop team. The role will involve working on a wide range of projects, from precision CNC cutting to hands-on carpentry, fabrication, and on-site builds. This is a varied role that will also include travel across the UK and Europe for periods of time to support installations and event builds.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operating CNC machinery to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
· Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of event structures and set pieces.
· Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files.
· General workshop carpentry, joinery, and finishing work.
· Supporting event build and de-rig on-site across the UK and Europe.
· Ensuring a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all projects.
About You:
· Highly desirable – experience in scenic and set carpentry and/or exhibition stand carpentry/build.
· Some experience with CNC machinery and software (training can be provided for the right candidate).
· Good carpentry/joinery skills and confident using a range of hand and power tools.
· Comfortable working with all types of materials
· Practical, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
· Willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a small, friendly team.
· Flexible and able to adapt to varied tasks and workshop demands.
· Happy to travel across the UK and Europe for projects.
· Full UK driving licence preferred

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
