JOB OPPORTUNITY: SCAFFOLDERS WANTED – BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE
We are recruiting Scaffolders of all levels for a high-profile demolition project located in Birmingham City Centre.
Masons Scaffolding is excited to offer this opportunity to join a long-term project with continued phases of work beyond the initial demolition stage. With varied and complex designed scaffolds consisting of both tube and fitting and system scaffolding, with hanging scaffolds gantries and demolition screens this truly is an excellent opportunity to gain a wealth of experience in scaffolding and join a growing team.
Positions Available:
- Charge Hand / Working Foreman
- Labourers
- Part 1 Scaffolders
- Part 2 Scaffolders
- Advanced Scaffolders
Project Details:
- Location: Birmingham City Centre
- Duration: 6 months (demolition phase) with ongoing phases to follow
- Scaffold Types: Combination of Tube & Fitting and System Scaffolding
- Start Date: Immediate starts available for the right candidates
Charge Hand Position Available:
We are also looking for an experienced Charge Hand to lead and coordinate daytime site activities, manage the scaffolding team, and ensure smooth handovers with the nightshift team. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
- Valid CISRS Card (appropriate to your level)
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Previous management experience
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Basic tools and tethers (we are a tethered tool company)
