Sales Assistant
We are looking for aSales Assistant to join our growing team and play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll support customers in-store, manage bespoke and wedding orders and oversee our e-shop operations. We’re looking for someone proactive, organised, and customer-focused, who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in-store with product selection and enquiries
- Handle bespoke cake orders: gather requirements, provide quotes and liaise with the baking team
- Manage wedding orders from initial enquiry through to final delivery with outstanding customer care
- Respond to customer enquiries via email and Instagram with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee e-shop orders: process, coordinate packing and communicate with customers
- Maintain accurate order records and follow up with clients where required
- Support day-to-day shop operations, including stock display, cleanliness and cashier duties
- Share product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer experience
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience (bakery, food or hospitality preferred)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders at once
- Confident using e-commerce platforms and basic computer systems
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak periods (wedding/holiday seasons)

Pay: £13.00 per hour
