Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Blandford Dorset
Reports To: Group Sales Manager
Employment Type: Full-time (part-time considered for the right candidate)
Purpose of the Role
To provide high-quality administrative support to the Sales Team ensuring that sales processes run smoothly from quotation to delivery. This role is key to ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency as well as a professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the sale of new and used machinery from a range of suppliers
- Liaise with Sales team, suppliers, logistics and finance to track order progress and resolve issues
- Support Group Sales Manager in monitoring and delivering KPIs
- Maintain and update Dealer Management Systems
- Liaise with customers following delivery of new machines to ensure professional handover and completion of NPS process
- Liaise with customers and product specialists on guidance system registrations
- Provide cover for other Sales Administrators during leave or peak workload periods including;
- Invoicing of new machinery as required
- Registrations of new machinery and transfer of registrations as required
- Provide stock information to other teams within the company as required
- Carry out machinery stock audits for the company in association with suppliers
- Act as a central point of coordination across the Sales Administration team
- Assist with other administrative tasks where required.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and CRM/Dealer Management Software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience within the agricultural, construction, or machinery dealership industry.
- Knowledge of finance paperwork and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with Ibcos Gold or similar dealer management systems.
