Duties

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required for roofing tasks
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of roofing systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints
- Experience with welding techniques for metal roofing applications
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction
- Background in general construction practices, particularly roofing
- Familiarity with fabrication processes related to roofing materials
- Basic carpentry skills for structural support adjustments
- Capability for heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs
- Understanding of plumbing principles as they relate to roof drainage systems
- Knowledge of masonry techniques for integrating roofs with brick or stone structures
