The Dance with Cinti Academy of Performing Arts is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Roller Skating Coach to deliver engaging, safe, and fun roller skating lessons to children and adults of all abilities. The coach will teach skating techniques, support skill development, and create an encouraging environment for all students. Experience with dance on skates is a plus and may be incorporated into lessons to add creativity and performance elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver roller skating classes for various age groups and skill levels
- Teach skating fundamentals as well as advanced techniques
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons
- Motivate and inspire students to build confidence and improve skills
- Support students with progression and goal setting
- Assist with scheduling and class organisation as needed
- Maintain equipment and the skating area to ensure a safe environment
Requirements:
- Strong roller skating ability and knowledge of coaching techniques
- Experience teaching or coaching skating preferred
- Ability to engage with children and adults of all ages and abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Driving licence preferred
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check
